Menu SKUs

Where: Restaurant → Setup → Menu SKUs. Managers only.

Menu SKUs lists the menu items Forward Tab tickets can be used for. Each item has a Price ceiling set by Forward Tab policy.

• Change a price: type it in and select Save. A price can't be above the ceiling; contact Forward Tab to request a higher one. When you change a price, tickets already on the board are trued up to match: money is drawn from or returned to your wallet, and the page tells you what changed. If you raise a price and the wallet can't cover the difference, the page tells you how many tickets keep the old value until more donations arrive.
• Turn an item on or off: use the checkbox in the Status column. Tickets are only issued for active items.
• Add an item: under Add a menu item, enter a name, a category (MEAL, BREAKFAST, LUNCH or DINNER) and a price, then select Add item. The ceiling is set automatically.

Your cheapest active item usually sets how much money the wallet needs before the next ticket is issued (see Dashboard).
