The restaurant partner agreement is the agreement between your restaurant and Forward Tab: how meals from the Community Board are served and paid for. One manager signs it once, online, and it takes a few minutes. Until it's signed, your restaurant can't set up payouts or go live.
Sign the agreement
- Open Setup → Partner agreement and select Review and sign.
- If the page asks you to Confirm your email address, select Send the email, open the link in the email, and come back to the page.
- Wait a moment while Forward Tab prepares your agreement. It's pre-filled with your restaurant, its address and your name.
- Read the agreement and sign it in the form on the page. When you finish you can download a copy.
- The page says Thanks for signing while Forward Tab records it, then Signed, with the date.
Next, select Next: set up payouts to connect your bank. See Payouts setup.
More than one manager
Any manager of the restaurant can sign, and it's needed only once. The first manager to select Review and sign becomes the signer.
If another manager has already started, the page says who the agreement is waiting for. To sign it yourself instead, select Sign it myself instead. The other manager's copy is withdrawn and a new one is prepared for you.
If the agreement was declined
If whoever was signing declined the agreement, the page shows the reason. Talk to Forward Tab about any questions, then select Review and sign to start again.
Signed on paper
If you signed a paper copy with Forward Tab instead, Forward Tab records it for you and the page shows it as signed. There's nothing more to do here.
Common questions
Can counter staff sign?
No. Only a manager of the restaurant can sign. Counter staff don't see this page.
Where can I get a copy later?
Download a copy when you finish signing. Forward Tab keeps the signed agreement and its signing record; contact Forward Tab support if you need another copy.
Can my restaurant go live before the agreement is signed?
No. Forward Tab can't make a restaurant live, and payouts can't be set up, until the agreement is signed.
