Become a sponsor

Where: Become a sponsor at the bottom of any Forward Tab page.

Sign up online

1. Select Become a sponsor to open the pricing page. It shows each tier's price per location / month (a location is one restaurant's Community Board), how many locations it covers, what it includes, and how each payment is divided (70% Restricted Restaurant Escrow, 30% Unrestricted Technology & Administrative Support Fee). A tier without a location limit is county-wide: you can sign up online for a set number of locations, and for more by arrangement. When there's more than one tier, Compare tiers sets them side by side.
2. Select Choose this tier on the tier you want.
3. Fill in your company, your name, your work email and the number of Community Boards, and upload a print-ready logo: vector PDF, AI, SVG or EPS, or a PNG at least 1000 pixels on its longest side (up to 25 MB).
4. Continue to Stripe's secure checkout. Enter your corporate billing address, pay by card (or bank account, where offered) and accept the sponsorship agreement, which also sets out the 70/30 split. You can read it before you start at /sponsors/agreement on the Forward Tab site.

Billing is monthly. After checkout, the welcome page confirms your sign-up.

Sign an agreement and pay by invoice (enterprise tiers)

Some tiers, such as Sustaining Visionary, are sponsored with a signed agreement and invoices instead of a card payment. Their card on the pricing page says "Invoiced Net 30 after a signed agreement" and has Request agreement instead of Choose this tier.

1. Select Request agreement. Fill in your company, Your name (you will sign the agreement), your work email, Choose a password, your Accounts-payable email and the number of Community Boards (restaurant locations), and upload a print-ready logo.
2. Select Request agreement. Your sponsor account is created and you're signed in. Confirm your email address with the link we send you.
3. Forward Tab reviews your request and logo, then sends your agreement. It sets out the number of boards, the price, how often you're invoiced (monthly, quarterly or annually) and the Net 30 terms. We email you when it's ready.
4. Sign in and open Your sponsorship agreement. Read and sign it in the form on the page; you can download a copy when you finish.

Once it's signed, Stripe emails each invoice, with its PDF, to your accounts-payable email, due 30 days after it's sent. That address also gets its own login, which opens straight to Invoices: your accounts-payable team can pay there by US bank account (ACH) or card, or use the link in the invoice email. Everything else works as for any sponsor: Forward Tab assigns your restaurants, and each payment is acknowledged by email.

What happens next

1. Your dashboard login. You get a welcome email with a link to set your password (it works once, for 7 days). It opens the sponsor portal. If your email already has a sponsor login, the email asks you to sign in as usual instead. If your email already has another kind of Forward Tab account, Forward Tab sets up your sponsor access separately and contacts you.
2. Your logo and restaurants. Forward Tab reviews your logo for print and assigns your restaurants. A restaurant's board can have up to five sponsors, so Forward Tab may assign fewer boards than you chose. Your billing is then prorated to the boards actually assigned, never more than you bought.
3. Your payments. Each payment is acknowledged by email (a 501(c)(3) written acknowledgment showing its escrow and support fee). Until your boards are confirmed, the escrow is held for them; it starts funding meals as soon as they are.
