State | Meaning |
|---|---|
ISSUED | On the board and ready to be claimed. |
PENDING | A redemption is being processed. |
REDEEMED | Served at the counter and queued for reimbursement. |
QUARANTINED | Redeemed, but held by Forward Tab's anti-fraud checks for review before reimbursement. Reasons include a burst of scans, a duplicate POS transaction, a scan outside opening hours, or far more scans than usual in a day (this one also holds all your payouts until it's reviewed). Forward Tab then either approves it (it becomes REDEEMED and is paid) or voids it (its value goes back to your wallet). |
VOID | Cancelled. It's refused at the counter. |
At the counter, a quarantined ticket still shows VALIDATED, so the guest is served as usual. It appears in Reconciliation only once it's approved.

Void a damaged or lost ticket
On an ISSUED ticket, select Void. Choose a quick reason, or type one in Reason (kept in the audit trail), then select Void ticket.
The ticket's value goes back into your wallet. If the wallet then covers a menu item, a replacement ticket is issued right away. Throw the paper ticket away: it will be refused at the counter.

If a ticket is only damaged and you'd rather print it again, use Reprint a damaged ticket in the print queue instead.
